A River Seeking the Ocean
Jagged rocks cause turbulence
and disturb the underlying current
of a dispossessed mind.
Searching desperately
through elevations and canyons,
it grasps at the mirages
of expectation.
Its path seems as stationary and permanent
as the Great Sphinx of Giza,
but it is mysterious as the face of a child yet to be born.
